Tthe current Malaysian government is taking the efforts to help low-income public to buy their first home. This is due to the complaints from the public that house prices in Malaysia that are available today are quite expensive, Coupled with difficulty in getting mortgages (housing loans), owning a house for the first time is becoming more dificult.

The government is aware of this problem, especially the problem that often plagues the private sector employees or the self -employed.

Therefore through this latest announcement, a financing scheme for affordable housing projects is announced; for purchase of both houses under construction or subsale properties.


My First Home Scheme Application 2021 ((Residensi Wilayah)  and formerly known as Rumahwip

A number of funds have been allocated for housing projects to be given to those who are eligible for  My First Home Scheme.

There is no closing date for this government assistance housing application offer. As long as there is an allocation fund provided by the government from the  RM1 billion allocated.

My first home scheme application has a low interest rate and no downpayment is required. Banks involved in offering this housing loan scheme, are:
